Global Leadership Retreat Portfolio

I am a program manager and communications professional with 10+ years of experience facilitating virtually and in-person with event budgets of up to $150k. I am known for engaging communities in climate justice, wellness, creative tech, and entrepreneurship for social impact. I am also a diligent, funny teammate.

I led 8+ retreat projects by going the extra mile from start to finish while managing teams across the US and Latin America, organizing logistics, curating programming, overseeing budgets, cultivating community partnerships, evaluating feedback and beyond with creativity and heart.

Alongside fulfilling my administrative duties, I take pride in the way I facilitate connection, build trust, foster emotional intelligence, and strengthen teamwork by creating communities of belonging where curiosity thrives and conflicts are safely handled so everyone can do their best work.

Facilitator for a 10-week virtual program bringing together community leaders to learn about Climate Justice through a series of guest speakers, civic engagement exercises, and a final project proposal. Created 2 additional in person meet-ups. Before facilitating, I first participated in the program in Fall 2020 then created the Resiliency Toolkit project for Urban Farms with the support of the Catalyst Miami Neighbors To Leaders Grant.

I was in charge of hotel event reservations, speaker flights, furniture rentals, event production item purchases, and catering as well as on the ground set-up and run of show problem-solving during live event.

The retreat was open to the public, but with special access for Selina guests. Every morning, I would share a special cacao-making workshop. In the afternoons I shared a different workshop every day on Dream Interpretation, Human Connection Improv Games, Wilderness Art Therapy, and Ancestral Healing.

Curated a guide and calendar of events for a cohort to journey through the inspiration of Miami Art Week together. The Opening and Closing events I produced and facilitated supported us in aligning our intentions for what we wanted to receive from the week-long experience, and integrating the connections we made.
